About Gabo
Gabriel Manoukian, known as Gabo, is a contemporary surrealist painter born in 1957 in Yerevan, Armenia. Celebrated for his vibrant palette and distinctive visual language, Gabo creates imaginative worlds filled with joy, playfulness, and poetic energy. His paintings bring together dreamlike figures, animals, musical elements, and lyrical landscapes in compositions that radiate freedom, emotion, and wonder.

Over the course of his decades-long career, he has developed a highly personal style rooted in both Armenian artistic tradition and the boundless world of fantasy.
